I was extremely satisfied with the services provided by Stanford Brown and his staff at RTS Consulting Inc. Stanford’s personable nature in conjunction with his expertise on the subject of Health & Safety, enabled him to interact and engage all levels of staff throughout the phases of the project.

The County has a dynamic group of staff, ranging from minimally educated support staff in our Long Term Care facility, to Equipment Operators who drive a plough for the Public Works department, to Masters level educated Directors within the organization. Stanford was able to interact and engage all levels of staff to take part in a truly monumental project for our organization. Feedback was sought from all levels of staff during his facility ‘walk abouts’ and job hazard analysis of the positions. At no time did I experience concern with RTS services. If there were ever any aspects of the project that I required clarification or explanation, Stanford was always available to provide that clarification. Most definitely, in fact he is attending our site for a training session for all of our County Management on Accident Investigation, Inspection Procedure and Disability Management.

Closing the Gap Healthcare Group encompasses a trio of leading-edge health companies providing health services in institutional and community settings (including homes, schools, workplaces and supported living situations). I am writing this in reference to the assistance provided to The Scarborough Hospital (TSH) by Raising the Standard Consulting (RTS) in preparation for an upcoming WSIB Workwell Safety Audit. As a result of our collaborative efforts with RTS, TSH has made great headway in developing a core foundation for a safety program that we can continuously improve on.

TSH is a multi-site, complex environment that presented many challenges, particularly the rollout of a full safety training curriculum to 3700 staff. Using both instructor based and web based solutions, RTS was able to provide the flexibility needed in our organization.

Of particular note, was Stanford Brown’s experience with the WSIB Workwell Audit process, which enabled our staff and RTS consultants to prioritize our efforts in areas that would maximize our return on our investment in safety.
